A BRANCH—a week before his crucifixion, as Christ entered the city, the people waved branches from palm trees
SOMETHING PRICKLY—his “crown” was made of thorns
A PIECE OF WOOD—for it was out of wood his cross was made
SOMETHING NO LONGER ALIVE—for the Savior truly died
WHITE LINEN (may need to find this at home) —Christ was wrapped in white linen before being placed in the tomb
Some of the beautiful sights we saw along the way that gave us the opportunity about the beauty of God's creations.
Here is one of my kids' collections from the walk.

I love this lesson idea. Your blog is awesome.
Ooh, I like this. This is what we should've done yesterday when our kids were restless...but we did service... :)
Do you have a facebook page?
Gwen, I do not have a FB page right now.
This is amazing!
Realy Good article……I have no word to say.
you know what I never read this kind of long article before these days ! ! You are amazing
Love this idea. Planning on doing it today, but what the kids can find when it talks about something that is no longer alive? Thank You!:)
Maybe you can stage some old brown leaves from a plant you’ve pruned or a dead flower with brown petals. They may get lucky and find a dead bug to gather up. We still have snow here so it’ll be harder for us to find a living thing.
