Happy Conference Weekend! Here are some super-short summaries of each of the talks in the April 2025 General Conference. I love doing these, because they're helpful for me to help keep me focused during conference and they're helpful to look back on to remember the main themes of each talk. I'll add in links to the actual talks once they are published.

Shared story of bringing a nonmember friend to church and being a little judgmental about some of the imperfections he perceived, but later he realized that he was focusing on the wrong things. The people were loving and welcoming to his friend and that mattered far more than any imperfection in teaching or speaking. Let us be loving and each do our part to build up the kingdom in unity and point people to Christ .

LET'S SEEK TO MAKE OUR EASTER CELEBRATIONS MORE CENTERED ON CHRIST
Our divine center is Jesus Christ and we should do more to make it an Easter SEASON focusing on Christ, rather that just a fun holiday of bunnies and candy. The new symbol of the Church showing Christ under an arch is symbolic of the resurrected Christ rising from the tomb.

Be careful not to become casual in our discipleship. Christ calls us "one by one" to come unto Him.

Take time to ponder on the Lord's mercy when we seek for guidance, direction, or peace. He referred to Moroni 10:3-5 and emphasized that before we seek for truth in verse 4, we should do as is mentioned in verse 3 to "remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men...and ponder it in your hearts."
